Kalpataru Piping Solutions has stocks of different batches of metal alloys differing in grades that can be used widely to forge pipes and tubes of various sizes and dimensions without altering its mechanical properties. Inconel 825 pipes and tubes are known for their performance stability and longevity.
Inconel 825 is a an alloy obtained from combination of nickel-iron-chromium with instances of molybdenum and copper added to it. 825 grade of metals is similar to the 800 grade but more of a improvement in various physical properties due to change in its constituent materials. Inconel 825 metal is resistant to oxidation and corrosion even after coming in contact with oxidizing acids. Low carbon content prompts formation of no oxide layer on the surface of pipes and tubes thus preventing rust or corrosion. Stronger acids like sulfuric acids and phosphors have no effect on 825 grade pipes and tubes making them suitable for use in various chemical industries, nuclear plants and powering units.
